No trip to Morocco is complete without a trip to Fez, be sure not to miss the Roman Volubilis, which offers a number of excellent points to take photographs of the town. The Atlas mountains are a must-see activity in Morocco. Along the way you’ll see fire-eaters and colourful entertainers in old Marrakech and then explore the tranquil Berber villages of the Atlas. While the adults walk, the children can ride the mules, so there’s no complaining from the kids and the adults can stretch their legs and take in the clear mountain air and views. After this trekking and sightseeing, it’s a lovely idea to stop by Essaouira for a few days to discover alleyways packed with local crafts or relax on the beach.

There are so many all inclusive holidays on offer for visiting Morocco, and Marrakech is a city you can’t miss. Also known as the Red City, it’s the most important former imperial city in Morocco’s history. It’s also home to the country’s largest traditional market (souk), which by night tranforms into a mouth-watering open-air restaurant. The main tourist attractions here include the Valley of Ourika River, Draa River and the Atlas Mountains, where the Waterfalls of Beni Mellal are found. The best way to tour the city is to wander around the old town, and the adjacent new town, and get yourself lost in the hustle and bustle and shop at all the market stalls, or visit the palaces and mosques.

As well the imperial cities of Fez, Meknes and Marrakech with their palaces and sprawling souks, don’t miss out on camel riding through the Sahara. You can head into the Sahara on camel and either take a day trip, or you can camp out over night and sleep under the desert stars. On other treks you’ll walk through some of the dramatic Atlas gorges, explore a kasbah of "Gladiator" fame and cross the High Atlas mountains to see Marrakech and one of the world's great spectacles as the Djemma el Fna comes alive at dusk.
